Éphémères imaginaires is a drawing exhibition that extends across varied surfaces, materials, and genres to explore the transitory nature of our humanity. The artworks are enveloped by a soundscape, layering visual and auditory experience. Giuseppe Di Leo and I curated this project, and we are joined by artists Lorraine Dagenais, Emy Gagnon Gélinas, Véronique La Perrière M, Francesca Penserini, and composer Alexander MacSween. In an introductory essay for the exhibition catalogue, writer and artist Victoria LeBlanc reflects on the significance of Éphémères imaginaires. We invite you to visit this experimental confluence where visual phenomena and acoustic space mingle for an interval in time.
