Event: Vernissage and book launch: Prism Schism

Time: Saturday March 30, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Exhibition: March 31, April 6, 7, 13, 14, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Space: HANGAR 7826 in Montreal

From March 30 to April 14, 2024, HANGAR 7826 presents Prism Schism, a multifaceted world-building art project by Montreal artist Frank Mulvey. The exhibition consists of drawings, artifacts, an artist book and a looping video with an original musical soundtrack by composer Alexander MacSween. It can serve as a comparative model through which to evaluate today’s growing wave of intolerance towards diversity and increasing animosity towards people who see the world differently.

I am grateful to Gilles Tarabiscuité, the initiator of HANGAR 7826, for trusting me with the Prism Schism project at his gallery.
